COSMESTON RELAY RACE

Entries  open  early June 2025

• It's the 2025 Cosmeston Relay Race - our hugely popular chip-timed, baton relay race in the picturesque setting of Cosmeston Lakes Country Park. 

• Prices held again for 2025 - just £21 per team (and no additional processing costs).  Free race photos, too.

• 250 teams of 3 in 12 categories - with plenty of healthy competition and friendly rivalry.  Each runner takes on 1 circuit of the 3 mile (approx.) undulating course.

• Prize categories: seniors plus masters categories 35-44, 45-54 and 55+ for men's, women's and mixed teams.

• Race licenced by Welsh Athletics (licence applied for).

• A runner can only run once in the race and for one team only.

• All runners must be aged 18 or over.

• There is a TEAM time limit of 1 hour 45 minutes (105 minutes) to complete the race.  There are no individual leg time limits.

• Entries will open in early June 2025.  The registration website link will be posted in the week leading up to June 6th.

• Details of the information needed to register a team can be found on page 2 of the Race Information Pack (below).

• Team changes and entry transfers can be made via an online self-service link included in the Team Manager’s registration confirmation email.

• The team change deadline is 48 hours before the race (7:00pm Monday July 7th).  No changes will be allowed after this time and there will be no on-the day changes. 

• Prizes will be awarded to the first placed team in all the categories below. 

• A team’s age category is determined by the age of the youngest runner in the team.
